The Edward Wohl 5.5" x 8.5" Cutting Board is a work of art. Each board is crafted by joining sections from specially selected, figured bird's-eye maple, and is precision-shaped and hand-beveled for a graceful shape and balance. Individually hand-sanded and finished to a smooth silkiness, this board is a work of art designed to add aesthetic and utilitarian pleasure to your daily life.  Made in the USA.

• Each board varies due to the natural wood grain; variation in the wood grain is not a defect, but is part of the boards beauty.

CARE:  Not Dishwasher Safe.  Hand wash with a mild detergent and warm water. Towel dry and initially store in a drying rack so that both sides can dry evenly. A Scotch Brite™pad or fine sandpaper will smooth any roughness that develops.  Kiln dried wood is highly susceptible to water and dampness. Never allow one edge or side to be left on a wet surface. Occasionally turn your board to expose both sides to air. Do not store your board near a stove or other source of heat. Wiping occasionally with mineral oil renews the finish and protects the wood. To avoid staining, do not leave non stainless objects on a wet board.
