Le Jacquard Francais was started in the Vosges region of France in 1871 by Nathan Lévy. The original cloth mill was destroyed during World War II. At the end of the war, it was rebuilt and again started to produce some of the worlds finest jacquard table linens. In 1968 it was taken over by the Elis Group and the name was changed to Le Jacquard Francais. Le Jacquard Francais' first collection was launched in 1978 in collaboration with the designer Primrose Bordier. Today, Le Jacquard Francais has become the unchallenged reference for damask table linens. Le Jacquard Francais table linens come in a variety of sizes to fit most tables and custom services are available upon request.
